At Pathways, our vision recognizes that by creating a safe, clean, and nurturing environment for people experiencing homelessness we are also creating opportunities for a new beginning. We believe that when a person’s basic human needs are being taken care of in a kind and non-judgmental way, therein lies the opportunity to grow and change and to create a new path. The pathway out of homelessness starts with adequate resources, support, and a willingness to make changes.
Pathways’ vision also includes developing programs and workforce development opportunities that will allow individuals and families the opportunity to find affordable permanent housing. We envision, in our future, the ability to provide not only for a person’s current needs but to lay the groundwork for them to be autonomous and not need to return to transitional housing.
